General
Who should attend?
The training is aimed at anyone involved in the supply of chemicals, particularly those involved in safety or regulatory functions. The training may be suitable to commercial or managerial staff with a technical background.
Practicalities
Training is offered to groups of ca. 8 to 14, involving presentations and practical exercises. Participant contribution and group discussion is encouraged to ensure individual expectations are met as far as possible within the group format. The course is offered at a public venue or at company offices. Courses run from approximately 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.
The day cost per delegate is currently ca. £240 (plus VAT), paid in advance. Variation in the programme (eg extending the time, or tailoring of the content) can be accommodated for in-house presentations, subject to mutual agreement. Alchemy Compliance reserves the right to cancel training in cases of low participant numbers, ill health of the presenter, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, Alchemy Compliance will inform participants as early as possible, and will refund all fees.
Requirements of attendees
Participants will need to feel comfortable with moderately technical discussions involving legal text, chemistry, toxicology and ecotoxicology.
Participants will require copies of the Common Position of the REACH documentation (or later drafts if they become available), available as a free download from the EU Commission website (see links page). Alchemy Compliance can supply these documents at an extra cost.
